Hi,
I have a HP 3600dn colour laserjet printer it will print from windows image viewer and from notepad etc, but it will not print from Office. The printer comes up saying printing from Microsoft Word etc, but then just sits there.

Ive checked the simple things like paper sizes etc. I can't understand why it won't print from word yet will print from other applications OK.

Are you sure you have the correct driver loaded? Try reinstalling the drivers. If that doesn't work, call 1-800-HP Invent or go to HP.com and e-mail them.

What is the printer status in the printer dialog window of WORD? Is it IDLE? Is the selected printer the one which you've connected to the computer. Make sure you have no COPY1 for example of the same printer. Check the printers you have in START - SETTINGS - PRINTERS AND FAXES - select active printer and make it DEFAULT. Now close WORD and reopen it after that. Try printing, it have to work now. If not try reinstalling priner driver, start with deleting the printer.
