I recently had highlights put in my hair. My hair is naturally medium brown and also curly, the highlights are blonde and caramel tones. Since getting them done I really regret it but how can I get rid of them? I don't want to dye all of my hair as I don't want to damage it but I'm stuck for what else to do?

I'd suggest a very strong clarifying shampoo. I know Paul Mitchell's Shampoo Three is supposed to be a good one to strip color away, especially if it's newly colored. However, any product line that has a clarifying shampoo can do the trick.

Apply it like you would normal shampoo, keep it in 5-10 minutes, maybe a little longer if you want, and then rinse out like normal. You might have to do this a few times if it doesn't work right away.

That's the best way I can think of to get the color out without coloring your whole hair. I hope this works for you!

Thank you! Does this work for the blonde highlights too or just the caramel?
