I would like to know what subjects I need to study in High School to become a Zoologist. Also I have read that it would be good to adopt an unusual pet. What type of unusual animals would you suggest? Preferably the animals that are easy to take care of as I am at High School.

Thank you

Take all the science that is offered, Latin (for science terms and names), and general subjects -- be sure to talk this over with your guidance counselor.

Unusual pet: hedgehog

Thank you I've always wanted to work with animals. But I don't think there are any hedgehogs in Australia.

You didn't mention you live in Australia. How about a kiwi?

Is there a university you'd like to attend? If so, check with their admissions policy for your major. Prerequisite courses in high school should be posted online. Or you can speak to an admissions counselor.

I'm not sure about any universities at this point, but I am looking.
Also thanks I will ask someone at my school!

Your school counselor should be able to help you. Good luck!
