I'm 16 and I have sex with my boyfriend pretty often. For the past month we have had only one condom and used it, but we ran out and have been relying on my birth control (I wear a patch) there was one time though that he finished inside me and we both have been nervous I might have gotten pregnant. I'm also supposed to get my period this week, I've gotten sore breasts, I've slept for 8-9 hours and I had this nauseous feeling in my stomach but I didn't throw up. There are also sharp pains in my abdomen but no blood has come out yet, and I'm really not ready to have a kid yet :( (btw I haven't tried a test yet, I haven't had the guts to ask my mom, she knows what I do because she got the patches but what will she do if I ask for the tests?)

You should ask boyfriend to buy condoms or no sex, I am sure he would find them fast.

But even with patch and condoms you can still get pregnant, but odds are high.

You would not be having any signs of pregnancy before missed period normally, most of those signs happen in month two or so. Also you can not test till you are about 2 weeks late, so for now, you need to just wait.

When you test, use first urine of the morning

If you're not ready for a kid yet, you shouldn't be having sex. No form of birth control is 100% effective.

So you're just going to have to wait and see what happens... wait and see if you miss your period.
