We have a maytag performa PSD267LHES side by side. The ice maker was removed to try & figure out why water was overflowing into freezer. Now ice maker will not make ice. Cable is secure, water feed tube is in place. Have unplugged & replugged to see if reset would fix & did not.

That would have been because the water solenoid was failing to shut off the water completely.

Perhaps it failed completely, Replace
