I am in credit card default with 4 cards. Im not proud of this, but it is what it is. I have been too scared to answer the phone for months. I suffer from multiple anxiety disorders, and other mental health issues. I have a mortgage for my house, but I have someone who is assigned as Trustee on my mortgage. I have no other assets. I am unable to work. I am so far unable to qualify for social assistance because they want documents I can't find. (the deed to the house). I want to know if my house is safe from creditors. One collection agency called my parent house looking for me. Said I had to be in court, but I have not been served with any papers or summons. What will happen if I miss a court I dontr know about? Does having a trustee on my house protect it from seizure? My debt is $4000 on one card (walmart), $3000 on one card(canadian tire gas), $2000 (canadian tire reward) on one card, and 120.00 (sears). I don't know how I even qualified for som much credit, as I had problems long time ago. All 3 cards were offered at the cash register of the stores I went to.
