I have loose skin from rapid weight loss. I lost over 100 pounds in the past year for reasons to get in shape. Now that I am thinner I notice myself talking to girl a little easier. In high school I was very shy and being over weight didn't help my confidence. Now that I look and feel better, the only obstical is my loose skin.

Girls will go out with you, if you are ugly as a dog, fat as a cow, and blind as a bat. It is just finding the right girl. But no one will , until you think they will. If you are negative, you will not get anyone.

I married someone who had lost over 200 lbs. He didn't think anyone would date him before the loss, or after. Obviously, it didn't matter to me, but it gave him confidence to date. Good luck!

Thank you both I appreciate your answers to my question. Although at the moment, I am unemployed and I don't have a car. What do women think about a guy in my situation.

Are you in the boonies or near public transportation? Are there free things to do around you or even at your home? (jigsaw puzzles, board games, DVDs, walking, cooking, etc.)

I am near public transportation and although I'm not a great cook, I do love to bake. I still live with my parent in a slightly small apartment so I'm not sure that's the place to get to know someone.

Join a book discussion or writers' group at the public library -- or start one. Volunteer somewhere. How old are you?

I second the volunteer idea. You'll meet nice people there! Do you have any special interests?hobbies?

Are you job hunting?

Yes. And almost every where has you apply online.

None that really stick out. Like I said I enjoy baking and do pick up a book occasionally.

Apply in person too. Go to the public libraries around you and apply, even to get a job shelving books -- OR even a volunteer job there, to get your foot in the door.

Is there a reason you are 23, unemployed and without a car, living with your parents? Illness? Job loss? A degree that doesn't translate into employment?

And, yes, you can't meet anyone sitting home - you need to get out there, volunteering, whatever it takes.
