I am 18 years old and I have recently had a late period it was a week late and when I did get it. It only lasted 3 days when it usually lasts 7. and I have been getting sick a lot not puking but I will wake up in the morning feeling sick and sometimes it will come and go all day. Breast has been sore. But I have beem told that it is to early for me to test positive because it's a little shy of a month?

You shouldn't test until your period is at least 14 days late. If you feel that the period you had was not normal, and it's been 14 days since your period was due, you can try testing. Use first morning urine when you test as it's more accurate.

If that test is negative, wait and see what happens with your next period. If you miss it, test again or get a blood test done.
