My mother recently passed away. My brother told me there was no life insurance policy, but recently he has discovered one that HE was paying for. All 3 of her children are listed as beneficiaries but he says since he paid it belonged to him and we should sign the check over to him? What should I do?

YOU are the benificiary... therefore its YOUR money.

Don't sign over anything... He made those payments voluntarily knowing there were other benificiaries.
