I have a high court misdomenor/felony. I was convicted of attempt to assult with a deadly weapon 13 years ago. Half the time I'm told it's a high court misdomenor and half the time a felony... and sometimes I'm told it's the samething. It's not exspungable so it's interpeted as a misdomenor but when I apply for a job it's described as a felony. I am going to college and have talked to many people who can't answer or help me with some good concrete advice on what I can do. I'm not sure what I want to do I just want to be proud of what I go to school for and not waste my time in the end because of my conviction. I am pretty sure law enforcement is not possbile but I really could use some great ideas so if there's anyone out there smart enough to help me solve my own problem I'm all ears.

Anyone know of any STATES that my conviction will not carry too? I will relocate and sell my home I am getting to old to sit and keep trying it's time to make dramatic changes if it's what's needed to move ahead in life.
