I'm looking for a copy of a movie about a boy who has a special condition. A man found the boy in the forest and took care of him, and help him and teach him. I saw a few minutes of this movie at the school but I had an appointment, so I was forced to leave. I really want to see this movie in full because. It gives me ideas and strategies on how to handle and teach a special child. The child I think is deaf and has behavioral problem. I already searched in you tube but did'nt find it. Help me please. And if you could suggest other movies about special children, please do... thanks!

The Wild Child
(this snippet matches your description: Itard takes custody of the boy, whom he eventually names Victor, and removes him to his house on the outskirts of Paris. There, under the patient tutelage of the doctor and his housekeeper (Françoise Seigner), Victor gradually becomes socialized and acquires the rudiments of language....)

Hi! Thank you very much for taking time to answer... your title is correct, we're talking of the same movie, I remember the name Itard, I think he is a psychologist. This movie is a true to life story and part in the history and evolution of special education for children with exceptionalities or special needs. It seems that you are an expert about movies, maybe you had also watch this movie I'm also looking for... a teen-age girl who has only one arm (her another arm is amputated up to her armpit). She was a good surfer and continued to surf in spite of her disability. I only saw the last part of this movie in HBO, I missed the title. Hope you know its title too. Thanks.
