Tell him he's an idiot. Change in tightness? Really? That's absurd. He IS an idiot and you would probably be better off without someone like that. Tell him you haven't changed in tightness, he has changed so it must be him that is cheating... see how he likes that.

Your premise is wrong. You don't give him any 'explanations.' He is being a mistrustful idiot, and chances are when someone accuses for the silliest of reasons, he's the one who is cheating. DUMP him. LD relationships have a tough enough time surviving as it is, because people simply get interested in others.
