Okay so my hair at the moment is bleached blonde. Parts are whiter than others due to using a purple/silver shampoo that gets rid of brassiness. I want to dye my hair a mahogany brown colour, so I have bought a red temporary dye to put on first, and then the permanent mahogany dye, because apparently this way the dye will stick and not wash out in like 3 washes... so will this work? And will it go patchy and uneven or not? Because effectively the red will be my base for me to work on... :) thanks
