I've been trying to conceive for about 5 months. Never have I experienced this thick creamy white mucus. No smell ours just there. Btw my period is about 6 days late.

At six days late it would be too early to test. Wait until you're at least 2 weeks late, then test with first morning urine. If that test is negative, wait until your next period is due and test again if you miss it, or get a blood test done.
