I am 20 years old and have been taking micronor (minipill) since my daughter was born which was 10 months ago. I am breastfeeding along with baby food. I had not taken the pill a few times when my daughter was 2 months old and I had my period then. But ever since with near perfect use (give or take an hour) I have not gotten my period since then but 2 weeks ago I had slight spotting for a couple of hours with cramping. I have been exhausted, achy, headaches that are only on the back of my head that come and go, and lower abdominal cramping and feels like I pulled a muscle. I took a pregnancy test that came back negative. When should I test again and what else could be causing these symptoms? I haven't had any of these symptoms till the past week or so. Thank you for your comments

So you haven't had a period in 8 months, if I'm reading your post correctly.

Breastfeeding can halt your period, but you do ovulate before you get your period, so you can get pregnant without every having a period after giving birth.

When you tested did you use first morning urine?

I'd wait another month, and test again if you miss your period. If that test is negative then it's time to get a blood test done.

Agree, aches and pains can be many things, spotting just happens at times for women, so none of this alone really means pregnant, not that you could not be, since no birth control is 100 percent.

You can go to the doctor for a blood test or wait 2 week to a month and test again,

Thank you that is helpful. And I did take the test first thing in the morning. I'll wait a bit longer I'm more worried about the effects of the micronor on the baby if I am. But I will wait and see what happens with the test
