I have a GE side-by-side fridge - model GSS25LGMB WW.
The ice maker works fine - so I know the water is getting to the fridge.
I can unplug the water line at the bottom of the freezer door and water is dispensed when I press the dispenser lever.
I can run a coated wire up the tube from the bottom of the freezer door and can hear it hit something right at the dispenser. I can also run a smaller coated wire through the water outlet and it goes in about 2 inches and stops.
I tried running a hair dryer on the door for some time thinking it may be frozen but it didn't seem to help. I also tried forcing compressed air through the hose and it failed.
Wondering if anyone has any idea on how to unplug this hose? Or how to remove the face-plate and back housing for the dispenser unit? I have removed the control panel and dispensing chute, but the water dispensing hose goes behind a plastic cover that appears to be secured behind the face plate.
