I am 38 weeks pregnant. I have been having braxton hick contraction for a few days, here and there. But then I always get better. But for 3 days now, I noticed there's extra white discharge (which during a doctor's appointment said it could be yeast but still waiting for result.. but I thought it's normal to get extra discharge at the end of pregnancy cause I don't have any itch or it doesn't seem to have foul smell), have been seeing some pinkish discharge as well, which I can say is blood.. but since no contraction or pain.. I'm thinking of waiting. Is that a good idea? This is our 1st baby so we're un-sure about what is right and wrong. The last time I had cramps, we thought this is it and went hospital to be told it's false and got sent home. So we don't want to keep going again and again for all pain I keep having until we're certain this is it. So please help... right now my question is why do I keep seeing the dilute blood stain but don't have any pain.. what does this indicate? Should I see a doctor? Could be dilating without any pain?

What have you been doing recently? A lot of walking? Cleaning? Lifting? Sex?

As of this moment you should be safe to wait until morning to call your OB. To put your mind at ease you can call the hospital where you are scheduled to deliver.
