Okay so this guy Jacob and I have been best friends for 5 years. We dated a couple years ago but had to break up because neither of us oils drive it was too difficult. Anyway I still like him a lot. I can't even have other relationships because Jacob is all I think about. Jacob also still likes me a lot. And now he tells me he loves me and as of now we are semi friends with benefits. He just told me today that the reason he isn't asking me out is because he doesn't want a girlfriend or to date /: I'm just kind of hurt because he must not like me much if he doesn't want to date me. I don't really know what I'm asking here just some advice on what to do? How to get over Jacob? And please don't be rude -_- oh and I'm 18

Plain and simple. Dump him unless you like being used. You don't love someone and not want to be with them or think about spending the rest of your life with them. It doesn't work that way.
