I am looking for this film I watched many years ago! I think the movie is b&w from the 1930-40s, the story goes like this...
A man leaves his wife and has a road accident on his way to work, resulting in him losing his memory and ending up in hospital. Then later on in the film, he is on a train with another man and the train stops at a station. The man who he is travelling with asks him if he's been here before. The man replies "no" but then says "I'm just going round the corner to get some cigarettes". The other man says "I thought you haven't been here before?". In next scene you see him walking up his path to find his wife waiting there for him.
Please, please help. Does anyone know what film this is?
