Ok I'm going to tell the story in as most detail as I can. I'm camping at a beach at the moment, so there is this girl I met on New Year’s. We talked and had fun it was a good night. On the 2nd I had a friend down (a girl) and apparently the girl I met was really curious to who she was. The next few days went on I had more friends come down, they have all been trying to get me with this girl, one of them told me one night that the girl likes me and that I should go over and kiss her, but I’m too cautious and I didn’t (I wish I could go back to that date). So yeah I've never had the girl I like to like me back.

I've never gotten very far with girls and all, so through more days everyone keeps telling me she likes me (I'm actually really happy at this point). I really like her at this point as well, and every time I walked past her she would say hey and wave and be all excite and all. (Its Tuesday today) on Saturday I got my haircut and as I was riding back to camp I passed the girl and her friend, her friend yelled out "SHE LIKES YOU". I was so happy to hear it. Later one of my friends asked her friend if she was serious when she said it and she said yes. On came Sunday everyone has kind of left but they’ll be back soon, I was asked over to the girls camp by her friend, and when I got over the girl looked at me, smiled and said my name with excitement. I stayed there for a while and talked with everyone. My conversations weren’t flowing between me and the girl but we were still talking.

Later her friend again was talking to her. I asked the friend what they were talking about and she said "well she says she doesn’t like you but I don’t believe her, the other day she really liked you, she was just really shy to come talk to you and she always wanted to". I was thinking about doing something the next day (unfortunately it seems I had probably waited a little too long). I asked my friend one last time to confirm with me that she likes me and I didn’t get a reply. Every time the girl went past or saw me I would smile and wave, but she would do nothing back. I didn’t know if she was ignoring me or just didn’t see, she drove past in her mum’s car and our mothers stopped to talk to each other. The girl didn’t look very happy. When they got back I tried engaging in conversation but she would either not answer or give me one word then walk away. Today she did the same thing I thought it was getting better but no, the one word conversations continued. Earlier though she messaged me on Facebook about something and I thought things are working out, but she would not say a word to me for the rest of the day. The previous night I was talking to another friend about this and she told me the same thing that the other one did but with "she has stuff written down about how cute you are and stuff". “But at the moment she has her eye on you and two other guys". She also told me I need to make her like me more, so the other guys can’t do anything, but I was too late again. She had been told that apparently one of the other guys said he'd kiss her, (not saying anything but he keeps saying he is going to hook up with almost every attractive girl that walks past and doesn’t actually have much interest in this girl). But it seems that still caught her attention.

I am now trying to find a way to get her back to me because I know she deserves better than the other two (I’m not saying I’m the best but they aren’t the greatest guys out there). I don’t know if she still has legit feelings for me, I hope she does but with all the ignoring I've gotten isn’t looking too good. Every time I go over now she seems to always have to leave at that exact time. And when I’m over there I just feel like I’m making things worse. I would really really like any sort of help, I still really really really like this girl and I can’t let this go.

Hi lynk, not knocking your post, but next time please try to break it up in paragraphs, it is much easier to grasp that way. Tendency, for me at least, is to pass a post like this by because of the one paragraph and rambling.

Stay tuned, after I read it through again, will try and help, so will others.

Life continually teaches lessons.

First off how old are you two?

Be careful with statements like "I still really really really like this girl" - you don't know the girl completely yet. Maybe you really really really really would like to get to know this girl.

And

"I can't let this go" You don't control both parts of the equation. She might get more of a message from the other two guys and leave you behind. If that happens you have to let it go.

No you did not wait too long if it was a day or two, if she liked you then, she will like you now.
LIKE, as in have an interest in finding out more about you.

A lesson learned, don't put off things that need to be done, if you want to talk to someone, do it, today, tomorrow they may not be around to talk to

The other two males aren't an issue. The young female and her friends are. They are playing games and you are falling for it. It is a red flag when anyone tells you that you have to 'make her like me more'. If she liked you, she would be talking to you instead of running away and letting her friends lead you on.

I suggest backing off and leaving her alone. Stop chasing after her. If she ends up with one of the other males, then that is her choice. Stand out from the crowd by not being a part of it.

Heh well I have just turned 16 ad she is 14 at the moment, and yes of course I really want to know more about her, but she is making it quite hard, I haven't really done anything wrong I don't think an I don't know if I should ask her why she is doing this.

I guess you are right, I know yo just said the friends probably aren't helping but the girl has told them about how much she's been wanting to talk to me but she has been too shy, I myself have been having the same problem and that creates a bigger problem.

It's not her fault, neither is it yours as you both are very young, shy, and inexperienced, but the biggest thing is you have a bunch of people, friends in your business, and they don't know what they are talking about either.

Stop chasing this 14 year old my friend, she doesn't sound quite ready. Maybe later when her friends aren't around.
