There is no way to check this,
If this is online dating, and they are doing this to prove it is real, then it is fake for sure.
They take a real passport and photo shop new photos on them, so even if checked the name and passport number may match.
What they are wanting money ?
1. passport from ghana and US Visa costs less than 330 dollars.
2. there is no travel allowance required.
3. you can not get a visa for marriage until you have meet and had a long relationship
4. they will often chat for 3 or 4 months before they ask for money.
