Hi I need help finding a movie that contained a scene that literally shocked me when I was a boy and the memory has stuck with me ever since the day I watched it.
It`s a US film (I think)
It`s in the country (or a farm of some sort)
There is a blond hot attractive mentally challenged/borderline retarded girl working as a cleaning lady or something of the sorts for the households parents.
There is an evil dark haired boy with a sinister mind living in the house, he may have brothers, I seem to recall he has a brother. But I'm not sure.
Anyway, in this scene I am referring too...
This woman and this boy are in the bed together, he tricks her (because she is pretty dumb) into letting him touch her in her private areas and afterwards she is full of regrets and starts understanding what she has done.
For some reason I recall Darryll Hannah playing the part of this woman which I am now beginning to realize most likely isn`t accurate. Since I am unable to find the movie in her movie list.
So anyway, this is what I recall and I would like to know the name of this movie since it has imprinted itself on my mind for eternity because of this scene I watched when I was like 10 years old.

You're remembering the scene incorrectly. True, Rose isn't very bright, but she's a fairly intelligent young woman. However, she's highly interested in sex. The family hiring her hopes to save her from becoming a prostitute since Rose is "a girl who cain't say no", to quote Ado Annie in "Oklahoma!". The boy is the innocent one but has developed a crush on Rose. She practically encourages him to touch her though he's years younger than she is, which makes this scene extremely controversial. Rose even tries to seduce the boy's father but is very loudly reprimanded.

Rambling Rose (1991)
Wikipedia synopsis:
The film depicts the struggles of Rose (Laura Dern) to stay employed with the Hillyer family and thus avoid the pitfalls of prostitution. As Rose enters the dwelling as a domestic servant, chaos ensues. Rose has a long history of being sexually abused and confuses overt and promiscuous sex with love. She develops a crush on Mr. Hillyer (Robert Duvall) that he resists by citing the example of the Spartans: "Thou shalt not pass!" Meanwhile, Mrs. Hillyer (Diana Ladd, Laura Dern's real-life mother), who is working on her doctoral dissertation and is a pronounced feminist, becomes Rose's greatest protector. When Rose turns up sick, it is Mrs. Hillyer who protects her interests as Mr. Hillyer and an unscrupulous physician plot to "fix" Rose's problems for good. / Lukas Haas plays the Hillyer's son.

Thank you so so much. For 20 years I have been doubting my own memory and searching for this movie as it contained probably the most shocking scene I ever saw in the early 90s as a boy. Although my recollection was far from perfect I deeply thank you for helping me find it. It's been bygging me on and off for 10 years and I have done many searches trying to find it over the years. Again thank you very very much

You're very welcome!

That scene remains quite controversial since the actor is underage. Since most of the movie is rather tame, it really is a shocker, a very uncomfortable scene.
