Hi,

I am International student on CPT working as 1099 Contractor since May 2012, I've been doing quarterly payments (done 3 so far, June, Sep, Jan). I know that the tax returns will be filed in the April of every year.
My question is that, Do I need to include the amount I earn from January 2013 to April 2013 for the tax returns that I will be filing in April 2013?

Also, I received a 1098-T which has my tuition fee info, that was the money I earned as a contractor. I was wondering if the money I paid for my tuition tax deductible?

Also do I need to attach the 1099 MISC form while sending my tax returns?

Thank you.

Patience; we are tax professionals who are busy right now.

Your last quarterly payment is due on 15 Jan 2013 for 2012. The 15 April 2013 payment will be for tax year 2013 and is the FIRST payment for that year.

Sorry, but as a non-resident alien, you are NOT eligible to claim education credit.
