I need to find the name of someone in some pictures I have, from online.
The pictures are from the internet, except for one that was sent to me in an email BUT it may have been picked up off the internet by the person who sent it to me. I was on the dating site christianmingle.com and met a man, who was 'supposed' to be the man in my pictures BUT it was a scam. I am not out money, the scam was a 're-shipping' scam and I was the 're-shipper' they were trying to get in place but I found them out before shipping anything to them. They had stolen credit card numbers they were buying stuff, with, in my name-and shipping it to me so I could ship it to them, on a stolen UPS acct... I have been in touch with the 2 credit card holders and the owner of the UPS acct. the only person I have not spoken with is the man in the pictures I have. Does anyone know how I can find out who he is? Or know of anyone who can help me find him? I have tried the Google app to no avail...
THANKS for any help!

I need to find the name of someone in some pictures I have, from online. Sorry to say, but it's virtually impossible to achieve with any degree of certainty.

You don't, in fact, you should stop contacting any of these other people, You should turn all of this info over to the police and do nothing more.

Also while it is sad they are using someone else's photo, it is really not possible to find a person with just a photo without government programs, and it would have to be fairly serious for them to hunt for a person who is not a victim and not a suspect.

I have reported everything and turned in the photos. I found the credit card people and the UPS acct. owner, all online. It was good to talk to these people, for me and them-i think. I know I felt like this trouble wasn't all for nothing. I just wanted to close my circle by finding the real person in the picture. BUT thanks for your answers!

Again, no you don't need closure, you need to drop this, before it leads down a wrong path.
These people are stangers and not all may be glad you contacted them, you are lucky so far.
Others may consider you possible part of the illegal act.

After years in law enforcement, a victim needs to stay out of it before they cause problems or get themselves into more trouble.
