Any time you have sex, pregnancy is possible, even if protection is used. The pill lowers the odds, it doesn't eliminate them. There is no form of birth control that is 100% effective.

Are you pregnant? You could be. Wait until your period is at least 2 weeks late, then try a pregnancy test using first morning urine. If that test is negative then wait until your next period is due. If you miss it, test again or see your doctor for a blood test.

What should you do? Well, there's not much you can do to change what's already be done. You have to wait and see now.

Nothing you can do, the days taking sugar pills does not make it any more safe or not safe.

Any pills are not 100 percent and not taking them properly makes them less effective.

So you could be pregnant, so now you wait and see if you get next months period or not

Just remember that you are not protected during the "sugar pills."

I would also like you to know that there is no form of birth control that is 100% effective. I got pregnant not once, but twice, while using the pill perfectly as well as a condom.

I was also rendered sterile after a 6 month dose of chemotherapy. That was 15 years ago and my youngest is now 10 1/2.

If you are not ready to be a mother you should avoid sex if possible. We have another member who got pregnant the first time she ever had sex using 3 forms of birth control.

Birth control protects you more than not using protection at all, but it should never be considered 100%.

Then the only 100% way to avoid pregnancy, is to avoid having sex.
