This is a movie that came out either in the late 50's or 60's. It is about a permiscuous young girl. She waits for her dates at night by the tree in her front yard. In one scene she seduces the town grocier in the back of his store. I believe at the end her jealous boyfriend strangles her. The last scene shows her lonely mother taking her daughters place by the tree to be picked up by a man. The young girl is blonde and so is her mother and I can't for the life of me remember the whole movie or the actors. Can anyone help me with a title?
