Tonight the bedroom and bedroom lights quit working. However all the plugs in these rooms still work. The breaker (fuse) is the old screw out type. It is not blown and I've removed and reinstalled the fuse. This is an older house and it has not GFI plugs. The most recent work in this room was over a month ago. However I removed the fuse a couple of days ago to change out a light in another room. Any suggestion to get the lights working.

Go back to light you worked on and check for a loose wire.

Did you mean to say the bathroom and bedroom lights?

Bedroom lights are usually on a different circuit than the outlets in that room.

First, I would get a brand new fuse to replace that one. Sometimes they don't look blown when they actually are. Make sure you screw it in tightly. I would then check the wiring you mentioned you did earlier. Are other lights besides the bedroom and bathroom controlled by this fuse?

All,

I figured it out. I am doing some upgrades in another room and changing out that light. It turned out the lights in three different rooms all run on the same wire. So when I disconnect the light in the guest bathroom, the lights in the bedroom and the bedroom bathroom light quit working.

I figured it out when I was installing the new light. I have 2 wire bundles coming in to the light box. That is when I realized that I made a break in the line when I disconnected the light. I would have never guested that one.

Thanks to all that replied.
