Looks like a moen to me, too! May be an extender kit with a missing part... perhaps?
Email the pic. Over to moen customer support. Just call them at 1800BUYMOEN and ask for customer assistance. Then e-mail the pic. And any parts you need may be warrantied and mailed for free!
