Im 18 and my father left when I was 5. He never gave me any money, now that I'm in college I need the money and was wondering if I can file for child support to get the money he never gave me. Help please! I live in the state of Nevada.

No. You cannot sue him for child support. Your mother, or the person who had custody of you, would have to had done that.

Child support is an amount paid to the custodial parent for the care of an underage child. It has to be filed for by the custodial parent prior to the age where you would stop receiving it.
