What to do about someone that won't let you move on?

My boyfriend broke up with me 8 weeks ago and we had been apart for that as I have been away for work experience. Since I've been back he has said he just wants to be friends so I am devastated so I delete his number, hide him on Facebook as I thought it would look bad me just deleting him. I expected not to hear from him and I deleted his number so I wouldn't drunk text him or anything like that. Anyway he has been texting me a lot some of which I just ignore but if he asks a question I don't want to be rude. WHAT DO I DO?

I don't know if he genuienly is trying to be friends? Is leading me on? Wants me back? Doesn't want me to move on?

Should I just ask him next time he texts? Or completely ignore him at all costs? Please help, its driving me mad!

Its not rude to tell an ex to leave you alone. If you don't he will bug you as a "friend".

How do you know he is asking a question if you don't read his text.
