I'm only 12 and I wanted to know if it hurt more to get it done with a needle or gun?

It hurts both ways. The pain lasts longer using a needle. Infection and problems are common when piercing cartilage.

Gun hurts more because ti's a blunt stud being shoved through your cartilage. Needle's more sanitary and less painful.
