My doctor said my baby is very big, I'm 35 weeks and 5 days, he said he's weighing six and half pounds and his head measures 9 cm, I'm not sure about that size but on the ultrsound picture his head looks huge, I just want to know if everything is OK?

Not even 50 doctors online can answer this. Put your trust in the care you are getting, or go ask more questions. When is your next visit?

9 cm head measurement? Are you sure? That's very small for a baby of this gestational age. It should be closer to about 30 cm at 35 weeks.

Please clarify that measurement with your doctor. If it were only 9cm, you would be placed under a high risk category with a fetus that has what is called microcephaly Microcephaly - MayoClinic.com (http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/microcephaly/DS01169) and at this gestational age it would be incompatible with life.

There has to be a mistake/misunderstanding somewhere.

perhaps pi*d. 9 x 3.14 = about 29-30 (the doctor measured flat across the ultrasound)
