I have installed Windows 8 on my PC. I tried to upgrade MS Office 2007 Home & Student to MS 2010 Home & Student. However installation failed and the message received was "Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly component". Apparently, as the error related .Net Framework, I tried to uninstall and re-install Net Framework when the message received was " Microsoft .NET Framework 4 is already a part of this operating system. You do not need to install the .NET Framework 4 redistributable" .
I shall be obliged to have guidance/advice to overcome this problem so that MS Office 2010 Home & Student's set up is completed.
