My 2003 honda accord coupe's radio is not working. The battery died last month and when I had it replaced the radio would not turn on and kept asking for a code I wasn't aware of and could not find in the manual. I'm about to start a new job with a further drive and I need my music!
Help?

The radio anti theft code is 5 digits. When your car was sold in 2003 it came with 2 stickers containing those code numbers and a serial number sticker. One was suppose to be placed on the radio code card (same size as a credit card) in the glovebox owners manual. Sometimes the dealer mechanics prepping the car will place this sticker on the inside wall of the glovebox or on the panel under the glovebox (above where passenger places feet). This code number must be re-entered every time car battery is disconnected. To obtain this code number from the Honda dealer you must have the serial number of the radio. This serial number is also on a sticker which may be placed inside the glovebox or under it (same as the radio code sticker). This serial number is real long (8 to 13 digits). If you cannot locate the radio code or the serial number sticker you will have to remove the radio to get it. Note you will have 5 attempts to enter the correct radio code. After that the radio will lock you out of any further attempts for a period (least several hours). I worked as a mechanic at a Honda dealership.
