I need to solve this but don't know where to start?
2nx70+50x110L=1150
40Lx110+50x70=1350

Please confirm that this is what you mean:
(2n)(70) + (50)(100L) = 1150\\
(40L)(110) + (50)(70) = 1350
Note that the second equation only has 'L' as an unknown - are you able to solve that equation? Then plug the resulting value for 'L' back into the first equation to solve for 'n.'

Sorry wrong equation. Should read
25x x 40y + 50 x 50 =1150
50x x 50y +25 x 40 -1350

Two things:
1. Please don't double post questions. This is the same questuion you asked here: https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/mathematics/simultaneous-equation-720480.html
2. As noted in my response to that other question - this equation as you've written it makes no sense.
