I think my daughter did not clean vent pipe and thermal limiter blew. I can get this part for about $15 AFTER I clean all the gunk out of the pipe and the machine.
1. However, I'd like to check it first before removing it and don't know how exactly to properly use the ohm meter. Then if this part checks OK, what are the next most likely items (sensors?) to check and where are they located.
2. She lives in a house where the vent goes into wall for 1 foot then goes straight up to the top ridge of the house. I pulled out damp lint at wall and blew quite a bit out onto the roof with my leaf blower. I think there is still some lint in the piping. I'll get that but I want check as many safety shutoffs as possible before I put it back together and would like to check before buying too many needlessly.
3. Frigidaire model feq332eso. I've already found the dryer limiter after removing top. Need to know exactly how to check it, then find out what others there may be and how to locate them and check them also.
4. Dryer has power but when turn knob to start, get a short slight buzz sound only.
5. Thanks in advance for the help and I'd appreciate an answer on this community post but also to my email if possible, in case I can't get back to this site so quickly as I can my email.

Safeties are usually wired in series so you can follow one to the others just by following the circuit. You have to disassemble the dryer entirely to get out all of the junk out. When testing the safeties you should read about zero when it is good and infinity when it is bad or open. Here are some manuals: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/8010163/Frigidaire%20Dryers%20and%20Test%20Equipment.zip
