I have severe pain especially when walking in the outer side of my left foot. It is in the middle of the outer side of my foot, and hurts mainly when I walk. I can feel it if I roll my ankle around but it hurts only in the side of my foot. It feels like a bruised or torn muscle but have not injured myself at all. Anyone have any kind of information in regards to this strange pain?

I used to get this a lot, my cause was my shoes, make sure and get shoes with good support. I used to buy lower cost shoes to save a bit of money but I had the exact pain you are describing. Most lower quality shoes are just flat inside the arch of your foot has no support below it.

I just bit the bullet and spent money on shoes with good arch support and haven't had a problem since.

There could be other causes though.
