I hooked our new LCD TV up using a HDMI cable to our DVR and no matter which input I choose the screen flashes blue/black/tv show over and over. It goes fast but when the show is up there is sound... I also hooked up our DVD player with HDMI cables and that works fine. I tried rebooting the cable box with no luck. Any ideas??

Is it possible you have the resolution setting incorrect? Is the DVR from a cable or satalite company? Its possible you could call them for tech support.
