My laptop is lenovo G570 with windows 7 ultimate.in searching for a file I opened an EXE file with VMCAP file... which resulted in changing all my softwares files into that mode.. please search a solution for my problem.

I believe for Windows 7, all you should have to do is:

1. Open "Control Panel"
2. Select "Default Programs"
3. Go into "Associate File Type or Protocol with a Specific Program"

From there, ensure .exe isn't attached to anything. No program should run .exe as it is an executable application.
