What is the normal time frame or cycle for a well pressure switch that is rated 30 -50 ? How much time should take place between on/off cycle?

Really kind of hard to say. A better way to look at it is drawdown. That refers to the amount of water you can get from the tank before the pump cuts back on. To find out, run water until the pump cuts on. Turn off the water and then wait until you hear the switch "click" turning the pump off. Use a five gallon bucket to see how much water you can get before the switch "clicks" again to turn the pump back on.

Depends on tank size, but from a thirty gallon bladder tank, you should get 8 or 10 gallons.

The amount of time will depend upon how much water your pump can deliver as well as the capacity of the tank.

You must have a reason for asking this. Is your pump short cycling? From the time the contacts close until they open how much time does take> Back to you, bTom
