I have a Penn Gas Fired boiler burner model GFA-4and it won't ignite. The pilot stays on and the burners will light if you hit the red button on top of the control. The burners will lite then go back of in a couple minutes.

Without being there to test I would suggest that the gas valve is defective based upon your description of your actions with the red button and the actions of the gas valve that activation of the red button produced.
