View Full Version : What to talk to a schoolgirl on first meeting?

Hi buddies. Here is the situation in short:
I am in the final year of my high school. I have had crush on a girl since last year. I used to secretly watch her but did not had the courage to actually talk. She also goes to the same coaching classes as me.
Well a month ago I added up on Facebook. We have had nice and warm friendly chats since then on Facebook. I think I managed to really impress her and she started being more intimate on chats. I was stunned and blushed when she herself asked for my number on fb. We are texting all day on phone since then which was a week ago. We also exchanged just a few nervous 'hi's in school. I today asked her if we can talk in a proper face to face conversation and we agreed to do it by bunking our respective classes in school.

Now I am meeting her tomorrow and here's the big deal. I don't want to make this awkward. I am afraid I will probably run out of topics. How should I present myself? What should I talk about to not bore her? Should I gift her a chocolate?
Please help me out in making this experience awesome.

I would be so happy if someone brought me chocolates! :) You should do that and just think of a few conversation starters and just let it go from there! :) If you run out of things to say just smile and think of something... it doesn't really matter what it is :P Maybe compliment her on her shirt or hair or something! :)

Hope you have fun! :)

She is just as nervous as you are, just be yourself, and chat about the things you text and FB about

Don't try to impress her with stuff about you. Spend most of the time asking her about her likes, her family, her classes, what she wants to do with her future, and just add a comment or two here and there about yourself. And so what if you are nervous? That is very charming all by itself, I think. I'm an old woman now, but I always preferred the shy awkward type over the braggy confident type.

Those last lines were really pleasant to hear.

Yeah I was shy and awkward but natural. It went well for both of us. She thanked me and later told me she liked it. I feel much more confident now for the next meet ;-)
