I dated him for more than 2 years... but back in may I left him due to our cultural differences and the fact that our families did not want us to be together. Before I broke off the relationship, he got me an engagement ring. 1 month after we broke up, we ended up getting back together, because we had strong feelings for each other. But broke up again, since we both came to a conclusion that we cannot be together. Few months later he texted me. We met up, tried to get back together, but he said he wants to be single, but we could be friends. Of course friendship did not work out. We went through this cycle a few times. And every time we promise each other not to contact , he ends up writing me, wanting to meet me. I love him still, and I know he loves me too. But he put up a wall. Just recently he contacted me again. I don't know what he wants from me. I told him to forget about me and never write me again. But he still does. What to do? And what is it that he possibly wants, since he claims he doesn't want me back and does not want a relationship with me, but clearly knows me and him cannot be friends. Please help :(

He clearly wants you in his life. If you are willing to have him in your life, tell him clearly how you want him in your life. If you don't want him in your life ignore him. Silence speaks louder then words.
