My pup has parvo, she's 5 months old. This virus completely took over her within the matter of hours, by the time I got her to the vet she was seriously ill. They kept her in for 4 days. They sent her home today.. she's slightly more responsive but she still isn't eating or drinking and she had pooped pure thick blood 4 times in the matter of hours, she's spluttering like she can't breath properly and she smells really bad, even though the vet bathed her.. she has hid under my bed for 7hours straight, I hate the thought of having her put down but it hurts more knowing she's in pain, and the after affects of this virus are horrible, again something I don't what to have to put her though.. I love her to bits but I think putting her down would be the kindest thing we can do at this time.. I'm really not sure, I've already called the vet and he's said to bring her in 1st thing tomorrow.

What should I do??

Putting her down might be best, unless the vet can do something else for her. If they can't you'll have to other wise she'll die painfully and that would be worse

Your pup needs to go back in.

Why did the vet send her home. What was the prognosis then? It seems like if she had not improved he would have kept her on IV`s until she was drinking/eating and keeping small amounts of food down. You need to get your pup back into the vet NOW, not tomorrow and if your vet doesn't show anymore concern then that or does not see pts on emergency basis I would find a emergency vet hospital that is open after hours. I would do this ASAP not only for the best chance if your pup might survive but this is the most humane thing to do.

This post was created over a month ago... I think the puppy died by now.. or got proper treatment.

Opps, Im sorry. I should have been paying more attention. Yikes, how embarressing. I do hope the pup got proper treatment in time. Parvo is such a fast and cruel illness for dogs. Thank you for bringing my mistake to my attention.
