Why can't I get the router dlink connected to the internet...

why can't i get the router dlink connected to the internet....I have installed the router but it does not seem to be on my computer...

Ensure your connection information is correct.

Also make sure you have everything plugged into the correct ports. The "modem" should plug "in" to the router and "out" from the router the cable goes to your computer.
