I have a Ford F250. Last night my husband had troubles with it after he left work. It would not stay running. If he took his foot off the gas to put it in gear, it would stall. He finally did get it going and made it home. Once home he turned it off and restarted it and it stayed running. This morning. I had to start it 3 times. The 3rd time I revved the engine and slowly eased off the gas. It stayed running but stalled as soon as I stopped at work. I restarted it right away and it stayed running. Any ideas?

I am hoping it is water in the gas. I have done a poll at work. Answers include: water in gas (use dry-gas), fuel filter, and battery.

. Remove and fully charge or replace the battery.

. Replace the fuel filter, if it has not been changed in 30,000 miles.

. Depending on the year and engine, the Ignition Control Module (ICM) or Crankshaft Position Sensor (Hall Effect sensor) may be bad.
