Hi, I'm 19 years old and I just had a brand new car on 27th of October 2012. Im still on my Phase 2 L's and I ony have to wait for a month before I can get my P's. I live in Peth Western Australia.

Im really scared, I got pulled over by a police yesterday 8th of November for driving wrong, for driving straight into a Stop sign. They asked for my driver license which I ddnt have, I was driving ALONE.

They called the Licensing centre and found out that Im still on my L's, they ddnt let me go yesterday until someone picked me up to drive me home.

They told me to wait for a letter telling me when will be my Court is. And I've got a $150 fine for driving straight into a Stop sign.

In less than a month I'm supposed to have my P's by then, but no I got pulled over by the Police and send into a Court with me must be having a Lawyer.

What will be the consequences for me? Im so scared. How about my Learners what will happen to it? My P's in less than a month what will happen to it?

Its really hard for me not to have a license cause my working hours is like from 5am -1pm and 4pm- 12am 5 days a week.

Please HELP! :(

You will have a fine, lose your permit and most likely not be allowed a license for at least a year. Nothing really much.

Who told you that you need a lawyer?
I would call the police station and ask what typically happens.
There are only a few Australians on this site and you might not get an answer specific enough.
I'm in the US and had an accident before I got my full license, and somehow I still got it. But that was 50 years ago.
