I discovered that the 3 large sewer pipes in the basement are seeping water which has never happened before. The sump pump is not actively working and when the toilets are flushed water is coming out of the hose/pipe attached to the piping for the dishwasher, washing machine and toilets. Maybe our main water line is being blocked and is forcing water out of the sewer pipes. Not sure at all. Any advice or comments on what can be done. Should we snake the pipe leading to the outside or call for professionals? Any remedies until the morning?

Call the professionals, ask for quotes. It will vary from $ 125.00 up to over $ 600.00, depending on the contractor. The equipment is dangerous to use.
