I had an MRI a week ago today and in the process I had to have an IV almost midway between my left elbow and wrist where they injected me with a chemical. The injection site bruised pretty good and is now fading, but the vein has turned hard and is painfully sore to the touch all the way up to my elbow and up the back of my biceps. I have what feels like muscle soreness above my heart now. Should I be concerned about a possible blood clot or is this normal healing?
