I'm in Houston, tx I moved in this apartment two months ago I been asking for my lease since I moved here the leasing agent I have been asking said the manager haven't sign it yet. Si keep going back and now they saying that don't have it they sent it to corporate now the leasing agent that moved me in and the one I kept asking she no longer work there... ok my question is by law how long it take for them to give me a copy of my lease its going three months and they saying same thing corporate haven't sent it back yet.. what do I do how do I get a copy and they may have added thing to it what's the law

They don't have to give you a copy, you should have keep a copy when you signed it.
They have to present a signed copy in court, if you sue based on contract issues.
Why is getting a copy a issue ? Are they trying to void or change some of the parts of it

Yes, you shouldn't have moved in without a copy. But if they make changes to it that are damaging to you, all you can do is point them out and say you didn't agree to them. That can be tough without a copy!
Try a reasonable approach first - ask to fill out a whole new lease and have it signed by the new office manager. Ask in writing, and send it certified mail, and keep a copy.
There are plenty of reasons they are protected by a lease as well as you, so they should be agreeable. But I wouldn't worry too much about all this unless something is going wrong.
